Maricom Gives Back
The Maricom Charitable Committee (MCC)
With its flagship program, Maricom Gives Back, the Maricom Charitable Committee is proud to support organizations that work to strengthen our community. Through the efforts of our enthusiastic MCC team members and our contributions, we share our success by giving back to eligible local, national, and international charities that address vital community needs and issues.
The mission of the MCC is two-fold:
- Create a foundation that offers employees the opportunity to suggest charities for Maricom contributions.
- Establish a program that provides consistent governance over the selection and distribution of Maricom charitable donations.
The MCC has made contributions to the following organizations:
- Salvation Army:
On behalf of the Salvation Army Greater Baltimore Area Command Center, I would like to thank you for your generosity in adopting children and their families for food, clothing and toys. Together we served 7,920 needy men, women and children in Baltimore City and Baltimore County this past Christmas.
Please know that your kindness makes a significant difference for so many families. Below, I have included a quote from one of our families.
"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for adopting my family this year. I have been struggling very hard this year to raise my three children. I'm a single Mom and I do work but it does not help much for Christmas... Thank you so much, Michelle and children.
Again, thank you for your kindness and support. May God bless you and your loved ones as you have blessed so many others during this haoliday season. http://www.salvationarmyusa.org
