Jason Taule, Corporate Information Security and Privacy Officer
Jason Taule joined the Maricom Executive Management team in June, 2011.
Jason is Maricom’s Information Security and Privacy Officer charged with promoting and coordinating enterprise-wide information security, risk management, privacy, and governance. As a member of the management committee, Jason works with all lines of business to help determine acceptable levels of risk, and manages a department that ensures appropriate controls are in force throughout the enterprise.
Jason coordinates efforts across the company partnering with legal, IT, HR, project teams, and other internal support organizations to provide the functionality and level of rigor expected by our customers and mandated by the many regulations to which we are subject.
Prior to joining Maricom, Jason held multiple senior level security positions, including that of CISO and Privacy Officer for a leading Professional IT Services firm, CISO for State Government, and Global Director of the Information Security Practice for a large international consulting firm.
With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Jason’s accumulated expertise, communication, interpersonal skills and numerous accomplishments as a security specialist have earned him recognition as an industry leader. He is a frequently published author and speaker; a finalist for the Information Security Executive of the Year; and is a HITRUST Infosec Award Winner for Security and Privacy.
